The HUAC Satellite Team is building the Harvard's first Cube Satellite.
This mission seeks to demonstrate the effectiveness of Nitinol in outer space environments. Motors used for solar panel orientation and other instruments on a small satellite can become quite cumbersome. The design of the HUCSat payload utilizes Nitinol instead, requiring minimal drive electronics and power. Hence, the simple, scalable, and cost-competitive Nitinol-based design of this satellite can be employed by future missions in Earth orbit and beyond.

Current political climates have led Harvard University to undergo massive funding cuts. HUAC is no exception to this. If you are willing, feel free to help us continue making history.
